A childhood and partial adulthood spent with physical disability (now resolved) taught Liana a lot. Namely, unshakeable perseverance and that charmingly mysterious kind of introversion that is definitely not the off-kilter kind who ends up really into video games, museums, and squirreling away her personal spec fiction writing... Okay, that's a lie. She really loves all of those things.
Liana is a NYC-based actress, and graduated with a BFA in Film & TV from NYU's prestigious Tisch School of the Arts. She decided to pursue her passion for acting after having been one of few women in the industry to break into professional grip/electrics and gaffing. Her first acting role ever was as 'Dolores,' in the short 'The Island,' produced by Spike Lee and Directed by Aimee Schaefer. Over the years, she has acted Lead in numerous media ranging from web series, short films, even audio theater. Though the world may have slowed down recently, she has not, and continues to work, train, create, even land consistently in front of producers of major network/cable/streaming shows!
When she is not training or on set, she enjoys writing, being a really fit gymrat, practicing her motorcycling skills, and getting lost at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, her favorite place in the city.
